An obsessive fan has requested he be legally barred from going anywhere near Selena Gomez.

Thomas Brodnicks's felony stalking charges were dismissed last month, after a judge claimed there wasn't enough evidence that he posed a threat to the singer.

But now Thomas, who allegedly told people he's had conversation with God about killing Selena, says the starlet needs to be 'protected from him.'

In a sworn declaration to the judge in the case (obtained by TMZ.com), the obsessive fan said: "I believe that a restraining order should be issued against me to prevent me from trying to contact Selena Gomez."

"…I know it is the only thing that will make me stay away from Selena," he added.

When news of the 'death threats' Thomas made against Selena surfaced in October, the 19-year-old was said to be in 'extreme fear' of the stalker. At that time, he also admitted to having visited her workplace 3 times.
