Winehouse death sham

Amy Winehouse death inquest was 'illegal,' family seeks advice
The coroner who oversaw the inquest into Amy Winehouse's death has resigned, leading to questions about whether the investigation should be held again.

Australian lawyer Suzanne Greenaway was appointed coroner in London in 2009 by her husband, Andrew Reid, but she resigned in November last year after it was discovered she hadn't been registered as a lawyer in the U.K for five years.

Amy's death could be declared invalid if her family decide to challenge the verdict, but for the moment they are "taking advice on the implications…and will decide if any further discussion with the authorities is needed."

Mitch Winehouse, Amy's dad, has downplayed the news, tweeting: "Don't worry about coroner nonsense. We are all OK."

At the October inquest, Greenaway ruled that Amy died by misadventure, saying she suffered accidental alcohol poisoning after weeks of sobriety.
