Cate Blanchett has long been an opponent of plastic surgery, recently telling blog Fashionista, "I’d just be too frightened about what it means long term." In the world of showbiz she's seen more than her fair share of post-op stars, and it's not a good look as she once told the Herald Sun, "You look at a man or a woman in their 50s and all I see when they've brushed it all away (with surgery) is self-obsession and fear – and that's not particularly attractive."
