The Dark Knight
If Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins was great, then its sequel, The Dark Knight proved extraordinary. Combining a real-world Gotham with a larger-than-life and terrifying villain (Heath Ledger's Joker) not only one of the best sequels ever, but one of the best films, period. And its follow-up The Dark Knight Rises was pretty darn good as well. HIT
